No PS2 Backward Compatibility for PS3 Slim

From a GamePro interview with John Koller, who is the SCEA “Marketing Boss”:

GP: This is a question a lot of our readers have had… They’re wondering, will the PS3 Slim support Backwards Compatibility?

Koller: No, it won’t, actually. Backwards Compatibility plans [are] actually off the table.

He goes on to say some shit about how people primarily buy the PS3 to play new releases, not old PS2 games. Douche.
